Art Center Morro Bay is one of the largest and best California Central Coast venues for exhibiting original fine art by local artists; we boast two large galleries. Come view our exhibits and attend opening receptions to meet our featured artists. Open to the public, receptions are held on designated Sunday afternoons from 3:00 until 5:00.The Art Center hosts nine or ten shows a year and accepts most media, including oil, pastels, mixed media, watercolor, acrylic, photography, and three dimensional art. Work is accepted at the discretion of the Gallery Director.
Except for special regional shows, to exhibit at Art Center Morro Bay, an artist must be an active member of Morro Bay Art Association and agree to serve as a docent for at least one four hour period during the show in which work is displayed. See the Art Center calendar for take-in/exchange dates.
